Dayz of our Lives by tomfluharty Dayz of our Lives by tomfluharty
Here is a cover painted with the dutch flemish oil painting technique.

It was done for the cover of the Weekly Standards

Title: Dayz of our Lives - The Clinton's

Medium: Traditional Oils

For those interested, I will be teaching an oil painting class focusing on the 'Dutch Flemish' technique on SCHOOLISM.com starting April 15, 2010.

Bill and Hilary as Doug and Julie? I wouldn't call them a supercouple, but this is funny.

This is awesome! :)
I don't think the "unresolved" area of the hip (above comment) really matters because it is very very clear where the area of focus is. I would love to know more about your technique- I have studied the Flemish technique through books/artists in the LA area but you are the only one I have seen truly pull it off this well. Right now I am using a verdaccio technique as taught by Adrian Gottlieb, I would love it if you could look at my work and give me some tips!
Thanks!

I love caricatures and this is brilliantly done!
I'd love to attempt to your class, but I need to win at lottery first ^^
